AI search that understands what customers mean.

Customers search in their own words, ask for sizes and specs, and misspell things. Vectonic understands what they mean and puts the right product first, even when those words aren't in your product text. We build it and run it all.

Different words, even different languages, land on the same products.

Vectonic vs. regular search.

The same search gives two different answers. Regular search looks for the exact words your customer typed. Vectonic understands what they actually want.

a chair to work from home on

Regular search

Matches the words “chair” and “home”. The customer gets a bar stool, a deck chair and a home decor set.

Vectonic

Understands they need an office chair. Vectonic reads the whole listing, so the right chairs show up even when the text just says “chair”.

laptop with at least 16 gb ram and 500 to 1000 gb storage

Regular search

Treats the numbers as words. The customer gets a laptop bag, a memory stick and an external drive.

Vectonic

Reads the requirements as filters: at least 16 GB RAM and 500 to 1000 GB storage. Only laptops that meet both show up, and 1 TB counts as 1000 GB.

winter jacket for a two-year-old

Regular search

Matches “winter” and “jacket”. The customer gets winter tyres, a women's jacket and dog clothes.

Vectonic

Understands that the customer wants warm clothing for a small child, not an adult. Snowsuits, parkas and other winter garments in kids' sizes come up, even when “winter jacket” never appears in the listing.

What we offer

Accurate AI search that's as fast as regular search.

Vectonic combines AI models with classic word matching in one search system. It works in every language you sell in, and we run all of it for you.

Classic search compares letters. It finds “IKEA Alex desk” every time, but has no idea what “a desk for a small bedroom” means. AI understands meaning, but on its own it can blur exact names and model numbers. Vectonic uses both on every search, so your customers get the precision of one and the understanding of the other.

As fast as regular search

AI search usually adds a noticeable delay. Vectonic answers nearly as fast as classic keyword search.

Cheapest first

When the same product is sold by several sellers, the lowest price shows first.

Understands everyday language

Typos, synonyms and descriptions like “a table that extends when guests come over” lead to the right products.

Exact matches stay exact

Brands, model names and article numbers still come first.

Made for your languages

We choose language models for each market, so Swedish compound words and local terms work as well as English.

Scales with you

From a few thousand products to millions, at the same speed. Nothing to resize or re-architect as you grow.

No search team needed

We build it, host it, monitor it and keep improving it. Nothing to run on your side.

Filter and sort on what was only in the text.

A lot of important information only lives in a product's title and description: colour, size, material, condition. There, nobody can filter or sort on it. So a bed described as “white, 160 wide” never shows up when a shopper picks white or 160 cm.

Vectonic reads the title and description of every product and pulls those details out. From them it creates new filters, so shoppers can filter and sort on information that used to be buried in the text. Your data gets richer, and nobody on your team has to fill anything in by hand.
